As Long As There’s Music.
Sakamichi no Apollon, tells the story of Nishima Kaoru someone who has move form city to city because of his father job, so being the new kid and all those flashy rumors about him weren’t news to Kaoru. He has always been an outcast and he didn’t care until he met Kawabuchi Sentaro someone kaoru doesn’t like at first but he start getting closer to him unexpectidly because he likes Mukae Ritsuko, class president and sentaros’ childhood friend. Somehow they have in common jazz music, which for kaoru it start more as a way of impressing Mukae and trying to make look bad Sentaro; without realizing that someday thanks to Jazz music they are bound to be friends for life.
I seriously recommended. You will get in love with the characters and JAZZ. :) Its very different from what am used to read but its totally worth it. I hope they make an anime of this so I can hear them playing jazz; I will love to see a live action but some the greatees manga in history has been ruined by making them in live action. So just anime adaptation its fine.
Kodama Yuki I appreciate you for making such a wonderful job with the characthers, with the whole manga itself. You didn’t left any unanswered question for me.
"Friendship Is Forever"
if you dont have me on facebook you are probably not missing out on any posts but the comment section is important too lmao
I went to the Renaissance faire dressed as a warrior. I had a real sword with me, too. I was standing (in character) next to a sword-fighting ring, where kids of all ages got the chance to pick up a sword and challenge the champion. Some woman walks by, with her little girl. The girl starts walking towards the ring, saying she wants to fight. But the mom pulled her away hella sharply, and was like, “That’s for boys.” You don’t want to be a BOY, do you?” And the girl looked around and saw me. I think she thought I was a boy; I had my hair in a ponytail, and was wearing a hood. So she comes up to me and asks me, “Do you think girls can be fighters, too?” And her mom looks like she’s silently gloating. Like she thinks I’m going to say no. So I take off my hood, untie my hair so that it flows freely, and kneel before her. And I’m like, “Milady, anyone can be a fighter.” I swear, the look on that mother’s face made my day.
YES.YES.YES. People need to realise this
This belongs more on Facebook than it does on tumblr.
i think you’re missing out on some of tumblr then… but it should be on facebook too, it should be on every social media site!
What I mean is that people on tumblr seem better at sympathy and know how to treat others but there’s a lot of homophobic people and swagfags who blame rape victims for what happened to them on Facebook.
